Arizona Fall Weather: Perfect Hiking!
WELCOME FALL!
Awhh…the fall weather is finally here in the valley! Arizona temperatures are starting to die down. Soon, the heat will begin to settle between 80/90 degrees. On some days, Arizona can have the best fall and winter weather around…but the heat can feel like summertime never ended on others! Fortunately, this year’s weather has been bringing some astounding lighting storms!
These often sudden weather changes help Arizona move into the next season. Soon, the leaves from the trees will begin to change color and fall from their branches. The air will slowly begin to cool, making its way through the valley. Unfortunately, this adjustment in weather brings allergies and flu season along with it. Many have already begun to experience this. Make sure to bring allergy medicine and tissues with you while enjoying the autumn breeze!
Personally, I think the best part about this time of year is being able to hike again. The mountain region begins to cool down and the animals begin to clear the trails. The clouds cover the sun just enough to be out and about! For many Arizonians, this is the time to start hitting the trails. Don’t be surprised if you see plenty of people out working up a sweat! Mornings and evenings are usually the busiest, simply because it’s the perfect temperature to hike.
